British Narrow Gauge
16th February 2009

Although I enjoy visiting preserved railways, I don't usually photograph them, but for some reason I'm apt to make an exception for narrow gauge railways.

I visited the Isle of Man a couple of times in the 1990's and at that time the Steam Railway afforded a unique experience in that it hardly felt like a preserved railway at all - it was more like a time machine. This was due in part to the picturesque decrepitude of the infrastucture.
